  1. Boot with Knoppix live disk or usb
  2. Open a terminal window in Knoppix
  3. Type “sudo sfdisk -l” to see what your disk (that you want to wipe) is mounted as (example – sda1)
  4. Type “sudo shred -vfz -n 100 /dev/sda1” – IMPORTANT – Substitute the disk name learned from above command.  Note that the 100 is the number of passes (and can be changed)

You need to get the specialized ESXi image from HP (well, provided to VMware by HP).  I found it here: https://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=HPVM09

Many teachers came to me recently about their Jeopardy PowerPoint presentations not working correctly.  The colors on the amount text was not changing to show that a question was answered unless you exited out of the slideshow.

After much searching it seems that this is a problem between the Jeopardy template and PowerPoint 2007.

The best solution I found was to download and install the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer, and open the Jeopardy files through the viewer.  It seems to work just fine.

It was a bit harder to find the download.  I found it here:
